Yup, that was my understanding too.  Exactly why Lions Gate couldn't
register the Order of the Lion's Mark.

I personally like Raven Herald too.  : )

Not gonna happen.  The pattern thing's-blood is not a period pattern
for heraldic titles.
HOWEVER...  Raven Herald would seem to be clear.  And it's a very period
title.
