Good evening, Folks,

Please pass this information on to individuals and other lists that will
find it useful.

The Known World Heraldic and Scribal Symposium will be held June 24-26, 2011
at the Best Western Hotel in High Point, NC ... the fair Kingdom of
Atlantia.

In order to get the conference room rates we must bring in 60 room nights
under our event. Not really so bad when you consider most folks will be
staying at least two nights, some, perhaps, making a mini-vacation and
staying several more nights on either side of that weekend ... The rooms are
$69 a night. This hotel used to be a Radisson and is gorgeous.

But to count, the reservations do need to be made directly with the hotel
and noted to be for SCA, Inc. Contact the hotel at (336) 889-8888

Subject: [tirrigh-heralds] Heralds meeting at Investiture

Greetings unto our wonderful College of Heralds!

 

I am planning on having a meeting at the upcoming Investiture event (time
and location still in the works) but wanted to give you an outline of the
agenda.

 

1.	Timeframe for step up of first Submissions Herald
2.	Realignment of Heraldic title / duties to bring us more in line with
most Kingdoms
3.	Discussion on how to bring in new Heralds to take on our offices so
that we don't have Heralds holding offices at both Principality and Kingdom
as our College is suffering for it.

 

If anyone else has anything they would like brought up please let me know
before the event.
