Without being zoologists, I think we'd need a cant.  Any structural differences are going to vary by artist, anyway, in ways that aren't heraldically significant.

If the black bear species is native to Europe, you could make a stronger case, but the case would be much better if the head was in fact all black.

You also get a DC from Artemas for changing the line of division on the
field.
I'm not sure you would specify a 'black bear' - I think it would just be
a bear's head.
I didn't find any conflicts.
