The pages in this corner of my website show some of the solutions I have devised for some of the problems SCA heraldry poses. As an example I have redrawn some arms of a few of my friends who are SCA members. They have given me permission to put these examples on my pages and are very happy with my restyling. I could also do them for your members and make really medieval looking arms for them. They will fit exactly with their chosen period, even pre 1125.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Besides this I have also made some proposals of clearer, less cluttered Kingdom heraldry: <a href="http://www.atelierderaaf.nl/html/kingdoms.html">http://www.atelierderaaf.nl/html/kingdoms.html</a>. I know that the present arms have a long tradition, but perhaps you can see that, while preserving the crown and wreath around the shield, the central charges become much more significant. They also acquire a more medieval ‘look’. I am fully aware that it will take quite some getting used to these kinds of changes, but I would be glad if you would only consider it.
