To clarify:
15 is the minimum age to hold a "warranted" office. In other words, to hold
any Office fully and on your own, you must be 15 years old or more, have a
current SCA membership, approval of your Branch, and be warranted by the
Principality / Kingdom superior.
Someone underage may act as an unwarranted deputy. They may fulfill all the
duties of an Office, but they must be supervised by a warranted (ie. insured
and recognised by the SCA) Officer.
If elected, Joye would do quarterly reports, be part of the Council, act in
all ways as any other deputy would do, just as Stores, Dance, Gold Key,
etc. She would also be able to get onto the
antir-children-officers at antir.sca.org email list for support during her
tenure.
Hope this helps to clarify,
- Maistresse Cecille de Beumund, OL
