[Hartwood] Results of Tir Righ Archery Championship

Greetings everyone, 
 
After days of rain the clouds parted just long enough for the 12 archers to complete in the Tir Righ Archery Championship. First of all a huge thanks to Lady Jaqueline Lefleur who helped with the scorekeeping during the competition and to Baron James, Tir Righ for all his help in setting up the range. Then a thanks to the 12 archers who stepped up to the competition: Baron James Tir Righ, Baron James, Lions Gate, Archos Aline de Seez, Fiona the Archer, Theordor, Archos Thomas of Appledore, Wnifryd, Marcus, Seth, Athelina, Janet, and Zoran.
 
In the first half of the competiton there were three shoots and the two archers who finished in the top positionadvanced to the finals. 
 
Competition 1: Grouping shoot shot on a blank target face, won by Baron James Lions Gate and seconded by Archos Aline de Seez. 
 
Competition 2: Helm shoot from a sitting position, won by Fiona the archer, seconds Baron James Antir and Archos Aline de Seez. As Aline had already qualified there was no tie breaker. 
 
Competition 3: Horizontal and Vertical wand shoot. won by Archos Aline, second Theodor, third James Antir, and forth Marcus. (James and Aline had already qualified so Marcus advanced to the final. 
 
In the second half of the competition the 6 remaining archers were randomly divided into two groups. The archers competed in elimination rounds with the lowest scoring archer being removed from the competition.

Elimination 1: Modified 60cm target face.

Fiona and Theodor eliminated. 
 
Elimination 2: Poisoned arrow shoot
(Archers shoot 5 arrows on their own target and one in their opponents. Arrows in the same ring where their 6th arrow land are removed.)
James Lions Gate and Marcus eliminated. 
 
Final shoot: Bhutan archery target
