[Hartwood] ... Awards

Old hartwood (before the amalgamation) had service and A&S awards.

The Golden Stag for A&S
The Silver Stag for service
The Crimson stag for rapier (i think)

I had initiated the bead system for repeat recipients. Instead of getting
another belt favour or necklace with a stag they got a bead of the
appropriate colour to add to it.

This is a splendid idea! A Shire token is a way to recognize those
people who have gone beyond merely showing up once in a while. It's
more than a "Thank-you" for playing, perhaps a "Thank-you for adding
to the ambiance with your fighting skills and gear, your efforts in
putting on events/activities, or your skills and/or teaching the
arts/sciences."

The Stag Tag has had a long history of being a fighter token in
Hartwood. How do people feel about expanding its use?

Other thoughts:
1) Stag's Eye for A&S?
2) Stag's Horn for Service?

Discussion would be wonderful! And maybe even lead somewhere...

yours in service,
Halima
