My lords and my ladies! Now that the big events have passed, we can
think of the coming winter and the upcoming...
Peasants' Revel!
October 5, 2013
Doors at 4 p.m.
The tourney season is winding down, the firewood is stacked and
already being used, and it's time to celebrate the end of a great
summer...
Food! Simple, hearty, stick-to-your-ribs, prepare-for-winter...
Games! Some are organized (and never seen before!) and some you can
bring yourself...
Company! That's you!
Tickets available from Halima Al-Rakkasa, $15 adults and $7.50 ages
12-18. Cheques made out to SCA-Shire of Hartwood. Please purchase
directly; contact info below. The deadline is September 15th, which is
also the date of September council.
Note that there is limited seating! Payment is your only guarantee of
a spot at the table.

And perhaps some rice pudding made with cinnamon-stick and green
cardamom-infused coconut milk, and garnished with pistachios...

Make your best way to Courtenay, downtown. The hall is beside Winds of
Change, across the street from Hot Chocolates and Artisan Bread,
between Duncan and England Avenues. Parking is on the street, and in
the lot on the corner of Fifth St and England Ave.
