A little over two weeks to Investiture :)


A Dirty Half Dozen Donation Derby will be held Saturday, June 14th at June
Coronet!  Donation Derbies are a great way to help your principality in a
fun and personal way. All donations are greatly appreciated and much needed.
To enter just send your name and the name of your donation via email to HL

The basic rules for donating (and competing):

*	All entrants must create 6 items based on a theme that are suitable
for largesse (example: 6 needle books, 6 hats, 6 items games, etc. Not: 6
socks - those would count as 3 items)
*	All entries must be tagged (what is it, what is it made of, and who
made it, the area you're from) and ready to be gifted the day of the
competition. For example "Wool Nalbound Hat created by Lady Jane Smith of
Lions Gate"
*	The items need not be documentable - this is not an Arts and
Sciences competition - but need to have value for a member of the SCA
*	The items need to be handmade.
*	The items should not have heraldry on them as they are meant to be
given to other areas.

JUDGING: The judging will be done by the 'beads in a cup' method. Each
person is allowed one vote which is done by putting one bead in the cup in
front the donation entry that you like the best

Now, the best part, PRIZES!! The winner of the Dirty Half Dozen Donation
Derby is the person with the most beads in their entry's cup. The winner
gets to select one item from each of the other competitors. So if there are
12 entries, the winner gets to pick one item from each of the other 11
amazing entries. There will also be a prize for "Prince and Princesses
Choice"

After all the prizes are given out, the donations that are left, will be
donated as largesse to the Principality of Tir Righ
