This is more personal than Shire, I think... kind of... but...
I read one that says:

Life is not about finding yourself;
Life is about Creating Yourself.

 

I took off from that with:

Re-create Yourself.

 

It just seems to work for the SCA.

Some time ago one of our members came up with a nice idea for a Shire Motto.
I think it's spiffy, but if one of you can come up with a good one, surely
there's more great ideas out there? For the month of February I'll be
accepting ideas for mottos, and in March we'll begin whittling them down.

me directly. Lets see what we can come up with!
