Some more information about our upcoming event this weekend for our campers:

Some things about the campsite of which to be aware:

1. There are 2 places you can get water. Neither is close to camping.
You will need to have a means of carrying the water to where you're
going to need it. Armada will try to have something with wheels to help
with this. :)

2. The camp fire permit allows us to have
on-ground wood fires *in established firepits only* until 10pm. The
event steward is amending this rule to say that is you want a wood fire,
please come to the *Bardic Area* and enjoy it. It's a big site and I
don't want to be hoofing it all over checking at 10pm.

That
said, at this time, we don't have a lit fire for Bardic after 10pm. If
someone has an off-ground propane fire they'd like to offer, I'd be
thrilled to hear of it?

3. There's a river. It's cool, it's
lovely, we have activities planned for in it. It's also a potential
hazard for children, people who slip and hit body parts on rocks, etc.
Be aware and careful, please.
That said, please bring something in which to get wet and a towel - the water's great!

4. Watch for bear, cougar and other wild animals. Be careful and act appropriately.

Thanks, everyone. Looking forward to seeing you - have a great time!
- Cecille de Beumund
