<div><br></div><div>For the amount that someone attends, buying a membership has to be cost-effective. If you save money by just shelling out for the NMS, not buying a membership is going to make more sense for people who aren't bucking to be an officer or autocrat events. </div>

<div><br></div><div>I realize that this is set by SCA Inc., so the kingdoms/principalities can't really change this. It just remains a big reason why people who aren't off to events every weekend don't buy memberships. </div>
