The participants in our activities are happy to share one peerage in
recognition for our martial skills, just as the Laurelate shares one omnibus
peerage for all arts activities.

There are 13,183 authorized heavy and rapier fighters combined. There are
14,410 authorized or active (not all of our activities require authorization)
in the omnibus activities. There will be crossover between all of these - there
are heavy fighters who ride, and archers who fence, but no matter how you look
at it, we are strong in numbers and not a minority.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:#10131D;">4:
This peerage will close the gap, giving every activity practiced in the SCA a
potential path to peerage.

The omnibus activities like archery and thrown are easy for newcomers to start,
and provide a significant growth opportunity for SCA membership. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:#10131D;">Be
polite, and ask that the proposal as written be passed. Every voice counts,
