About Us

Ravensley was formerly known as Ravens Key but we have changed our name since it is more pleasing to the Heralds.

    We have achieved full shire status in the Society For Creative Anachronism (which is a medieval recreational group), the summer of 2006.

    The Shire of Ravensley is located in Port Alberni and mid Insula Magna (Vancouver Island) in the Principality of Tir Righ which is part of the Kingdom of An Tir

Ravensley is a small shire with a large reputation.
We have a yearly war and many guilds that have put Ravensley on the map.

Ravensley has their own castle built on land own by lord Roberto. This site is constantly under attack every summer. We have been forced to defend our land, mushrooms, mead and maidens, year after year from our neighboring shires.

Our cooks guild is famous for the best feasts in Tir Righ. People travel far to our back knight's feast to taste what new foods they have prepared. Also they are in high demand from other shires and Baronies to cook for there events

The Lu Lush League is Ravensley's Brewers guild. Start at the beginning of the shire, they became know for their Raven's Blood Wine. Which was a red wine from Lord Roberto's vines. The La Lush league has grown with many new Wines, Meads & Beers. These will be availible for tasting at future Taverns, Wars and Black Knight Feasts
