Regarding sending reports via email:
Many email programs have the capability of finding out if an email has
been displayed on the receiver's computer - Check any box marked
"Request a Read Receipt", and you will get an automatic note when your
email is opened.
You may also include a note in your report to "Let me know if you get
this." If you get no answer in 48 hours, re-send your report again,
and again until you -do- get an answer; after a week, you might want
to phone your officer to ensure you have the correct address.
With snail mail, -call- after 4 days to see if they have received your report.
It's worth the effort!
