Actually, a few people had left when Halima remembered that Dori had sent a 
written application for the position.  So I asked if we had a quorum and we 
still did, and Dori's message was read and the membership accepted her for 
the position.
Do we need to redo that?

Good point!  And one that somehow was overlooked by a goodly number of us.
This does leave us for three months-ish without a herald in office, but that
shouldn't be a problem, as we have a number of heralds-at-large (voice and
book/protocol) to do any duties by request in the meantime.
