Just to let you know...

If posts are slow in showing up, it's because they are oversize  
(unless you are posting from an account which has not signed up for  
this elist).

Oversize posts have to be moderated (let through one at a time, with  
the moderator ensuring they are not spam or worse).

Keep your posts trim and images -way- small (total of 40kB). All plain  
text is usually fine.

Moderated posts will get to the list as quickly as is possible  
(considering a day job and weekend events).
