Gentle friends,

Oh the winter winds do howl and the icy gusts do chill,

So come join the Shire of False Isle for warmth, friendship and feasting.

This is a potluck event with the Shire providing a roast turkey, with
gravy and mashed potatoes, and a ham.

Share your talents amongst friends, with stories, poems, riddles, games,
music and song.

There will be prizes for:

·The best filk to a Christmas carol(must be SCA or medievally inspired)

·The best medieval riddle

·The event steward’s favourite entertainer

Come and enjoy an evening of fun and merriment with us on

*** November 8th, 2014 from 5:00 till 11:00PM ***

At the Cranberry Community Hall, 6826 Cranberry Street, Powell River, BC

Site fee is $10 or $5per person with a donation to the food bank, so
remember to bring an item to donate. Youth under16 are free.
