[Utr] UTR Project Plan - Common Forms and Binders

Halima,

Comments appreciated, and I agree the forms should be available on-line and
as .pdfs with a strong preference to fillable.

Why fillable?

Because when you're creating your class lists for large sessions, at least
for the average computer user these days - we type faster than we write. So
we could fill in the information for a teacher's class list, and then save
it. Print two, just in case coffee gets spilled at the Registration desk (or
some such other disaster).

These forms were sent to the Tir Righ Forms Deputy in 2008 to be made into
.pdfs, but that hasn't happened yet.

I apologize for writing more clearly - my comment about "What's the best way
to distribute these?" was meant for this initial sending - for everyone to
have an initial copy, and to facilitate review and comment.

Regards,
Elena

I suggest that the forms be online, in PDF form, fill-able or not;
Word is not consistant across all platforms, and PDF seems to be.

Reasoning:
1) The up-to-date version would always be online and available; no
waiting for files, no hoping someone has checked their email, and can
be picked up from any online computer anywhere.
2) No one gets forgotten in the dissemination (was there a 'd' in that
name?).
3) No form gets forgotten out of the packet.
4) When forms (and other information) are updated, an email can go
out; at any time you want to ensure you have the most up-to-date
stuff, go online.

Halima
