There will be UTR at Tir Righ A&S too! We just need to hear back about the
bid in order to get started!
Hooray for new events!

I think that the four Coronet and Investiture events are way too busy to
incorporate UTR sessions. In the past, Ithra sessions were discouraged at
the four events.
Voting on a badge at a Coronet is a great idea. Holding a session... not so
great, in my opinion. The scheduling at the "big 4" are insane right now as
it is.
That said, AT War and our new A&S event are places where it would be great
to have UTR sessions (as you have already proven with AT War). Those events
don't have the same time/schedule restraints.

I would really like to see the populace be given a voice in the badge
chosen. I think this could only help increase awareness of UTR.
Perhaps September Coronet would be an opportunity?
In terms of voting, perhaps a display on or near the erics so it's easily
accessible to the populace?
I haven't heard that a UTR session was requested for September Coronet.
Halima (on the island) and Magdelena - were either of you approached?

Elena

We really should get moving on our badge submission.
1) Was a final decision made as to whether we were going to request badge
designs from the populace?
Or were we just going with one of the designs I came up with?
2) Were we going to have the populace vote on their choice or decide amongst
ourselves?
If the populace are being involved, we need to get it that part happening
and someone should post information out on the various email lists (should
this be from Magdalena or ??).
If we're soliciting designs, the designs will all need to be checked for
style registrability and conflicts before we start to look at what we like.
If we're going this route, I'd suggest it gets posted out to all the lists
NOW with the deadline being Investiture (I'd prefer to get them before then,
but I don't think that's feasible).
If the populace is voting - a) if its designs I came up with, it could be
done at Investiture; b) if populace is submitting designs which have to be
first checked, then Coronet is more reasonable for the vote. I can prepare
copies of the proposed badges for display. How would we carry out the
voting? We need an area where the proposals can be displayed. How do we
insure that someone doesn't 'stack' the votes (or do we care)? Who would be
in charge of this? I am likely going to be spending much of my time in the
herald's pavilion (hopefully running a consult table). I'm not sure if
there would be enough room there. If there are UTR classes being run,
perhaps the registration desk could handle it?
