That's a fantastic idea!

 

Currently the only way the system differentiates heralds and clients (since
a herald can be a client and vice versa) is if the person is currently
serving as a consulting herald on a submission.

 

What I'm seeing this as is more of a roster of consulting heralds who have
agreed to receive submission assignments from Red Flame (or myself or
someone that Red Flame has delegated that responsibility to).

 

That sounds more like a static page that we can keep updated regularly. I
twinge at static pages, but I don't think this would be too onerous. I also
think that Uilliam Hafoc would be the perfect person to maintain it :-)

 

 

So yes, I agree completely. I think that a) it should be an html page that
we maintain on the site listing those heralds who have agreed to receive
assignments. B) I'm hoping that Uilliam Hafoc would agree to maintain that
page. Finally c) we need that list of heralds who are willing to serve in
this capacity.

Elizabeth Dougall Eisenmarche Pursuivant

Alicia le Wilfule

 

The list is short since I haven't focused on this aspect. :-)

 

Please reply to this missive if you would like to be included in the list of
heralds that can receive submission assignments!

I propose we add to the site a list of heralds willing to assist in
consulting for those without local consulting heralds.    This will give
folks a chance to choose a herald to work with.  If this idea meets with
approval, please put me on the list.

Quentin,

 

When it comes to clients who do not have a herald assigned to them, would it
be possible to add a listing to the dropdown of "not assigned" or something
to that effect?  It would help with regards to those out there who want
their submission added to the database but have yet to talk to a herald.
I'm thinking in regards to the reporting system of showing at a glance how
many people out there might be in need of assistance.  Does that make sense?
