[Hartwood] Winter Solstice Social and A&S Gathering

Greetings All Goode Gentles of (North, West, and South-Central) Hartwood fromHawa (Ah-veh) al-'Aliyya
al-Shiraziyya...

Please mark your calendars for Saturday, December 21st, for a
Social and

A & S Gathering at my Caravanserai, located at the southerly border of
Nanaimo,from 15:00 until 21:00.

Gather your A & S projects, questions, and supplies; wear
simple garb and bring warmest cloaks and wraps; and share food and drink, music
and joy in celebration of the return of *light* to our days.


I am proposing a simple, earthy
potluck supper: I will prepare a BIG pot of red lentil soup (a thick hearty
soup redolent with the fragrance and flavours of garlic, onions, and garam
masala... and yes - Vegan). Others may suggest and bring such things as bread
and butter, yogurt-cheese, flatbread and dipping vegetables and hummous; other
fingerfoods; and desserts. I also will provide coffee, tea, hot apple drink,
hot chocolate.

And I welcome more suggestions!
